The Dueling Dragons has to be one of the boldest attempts when it comes to "First Builds" by anyone ever before. Virgil Mandanici set out to build himself an amazing guitar, not only because of its incredible inlay, but a testament to the near "miraculous" woodworking skills and prowess Virgil had shown the world. This guitar was even featured in the September issue of Guitar World.

The Dueling Dragons was sold in October of 2013 - be sure to check out the 3-part documentary film "Release The Dragons" Virgil made cataloging the entire first year journey of Virgil Guitars that was spent making this guitar in the "Videos" section of this page.
